2022-23 Barclays Premier League - Team Stats

-- We were by FAR the top scoring team in the Premier League, just missing the coveted 100 goal mark by a single goal! United and City were tied for second 11 goals back of us! For a second consecutive year, we were 5th in goals conceded (40 goals against) but gave up two fewer than last year.

-- For the first time in the Premier League, we were NOT the team with the lowest attendance - that honour went to Huddersfield. We had an average of 18,231 supporters, a pretty significant increase again over last year's average of 15,027. That said, we're still looking for our first sell-out at our 23,000 seat stadium and while we came close a few times, we've just fallen short of that goal both in Premier League play and Champions League play. We also finished 14th out of 20 in Average Attendance by Capacity with a 78% total.

-- Other key team stats: we were 1st in penalty goals (10), 7th in goals from corners with 9 (down from 17 last year when we finished 2nd in the category), 6th in goals from IFK's with 8 (up from 5 last year when we finished T-8th) and we were T4th in goals from DFKs with 2. We were middle of the pack with respect to discipline, finishing T8th in yellow cards with 55 (up from 45 last year and 17th place) while our red card tally was 4, which was 2nd most in the league (up from 2 last year).
