Attendance Record Broken

-- We continue to break attendance records, with our average of 21,342 last year destroying the 18,109 mark set last year. Our stadium holds 23,000 but our board refuse to look at building a new one so I expect we’ll come close to selling out most of our contests this year.



Transfer Talk

-- We come to a deal with a young left midfielder but it’s held up due to a work permit issue. We’ll chat more about it if and when the permit gets granted.



Barclays Premier League Odds for 2024-25

-- Manchester City once again are made favourites to take home the Premier League title with 6-4 odds given by Bet365. Shockingly enough, Tottenham are the second choice at 7-4, United is third at 6-1 and we are expected to finish fourth with odds of 8-1. Last year we were given 25-1 odds with a predicted 7th place finish so that’s a heck of an improvement but an obvious one based on our huge treble winning year. The other top teams are Chelsea at 20-1 and Liverpool at 25-1.



Preseason Friendlies

-- We finalize our preseason schedule, with an intersquad game and eight other friendlies, one less than usual due to the Community Shield. We have a cupcake game at the end against Folkestone, an old rival and our foreign tour, as indicated previously, will take us to France for the first time.

Season Ticket Update

-- Tickets are selling briskly to start, with over 1810 already sold and expectations are that our season ticket base will be close to 7900 by the beginning of the season. We had only 5317 season ticket holders last year so that would be a substantial increase if we even get close to that number.
