#8 Abilene Christian vs. #9 Wright State

Wright State opened up a big lead from the beginning and held on to that lead throughout the first half, which ended with a 42-36 score. Wright still led 58-51 with 9 minutes left, but Vincent Harvey sparked a rally that led to a tense end of regulation. Abilene got the ball down 2 with 10 seconds left. Schaplowsky passed to Nielsen at the free throw line, who made the shot with no time left on the clock to send the game into OT. OT was a mismatch as Abilene took the lead and held on throughout, pulling away with 5 points in the last minute of play.
