Incarnate coach Clyde Reed decided to move Izulde to PF to fill in for Bafou's absence. Ginsberg had a terrific game and led IW to a 31-28 lead. However, a combination of Jestor and Lang putting together terrible performances doomed Incarnate in the 2nd half. Ginsberg was unable to pick up the slack all by himself and South Dakota State walked away with a huge upset.
