There is no value in the marathon runner waiting. I actually would've liked to see them come out just because Sparta is ready for them and then he would be drilled immediately in Hades for being a wolf. I didn't want to lay this out until it really didn't look like he would reveal, but my thoughts are that is why he hasn't revealed.
