A Heavyweight bout has been signed to headline the next edition of UFC Fight Night, which will take place Thursday, Week 3, January 2011. The 11th ranked Jon Madsen (7-0) will face his toughest challenge yet in the UFC, as he takes on the 7th ranked Frank Mir (14-5). For Mir, a win moves him one step closer to a title shot. For Madsen, a win cements his place in the UFC.

Also announced as the Co-Main Event is a #1 contenders Featherweight war, as the 3rd ranked Josh Grispi (14-1) takes on 4th ranked Michihiro Omigawa (12-8-1).

Also featured is a Welterweight showdown between Matt Serra (11-7) and Amir Sadollah (4-2).
