I'm cautiously optimistic about the new TOOL album. IMO 10,000 Days had some good moments but it felt a bit like they were stuck in a rut, Jones' guitar work in particular. He's such a big part of their sound, but for a lot of Lateralus and 10,000 Days it all felt very, very familiar. Still got the best rhythm section in metal though, and MJK is a top 10 vocalist for me.
