After the game, the Celtics make a trade:

They send SF Barry Gooden (6'8 234, 24, and rated 75 overall with no real strengths. Averaging 6 ppg and 2.1 rpg) and SG Lee Delk (6'4 207, 26, rated 60 overall. Averaging 2 ppg.)

The Suns send SG Dominique Jones, 6'4 215, 28 years old, rated 74 overall. Decent outside shooter. Averaging 11.7 ppg.



1/28/17 -

We host Indiana. They are 21-23 with a rating of 79...

We beat them 121-90. Turner led the way with 32 points, 10 assists, 5 boards, 1 steal, and 1 block. He shot 12 of 13.

Mayo with 28 points, 10 boards, 1 assist, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. He shot 12 of 19.

Kelley led the bench with 15 points. Fuller with 14. Villanueva with 12.

Scott with 11 points, 10 boards, and 2 blocks.



1/29/17 -

We play the next night in Minnesota. They are 21-25 with a rating of 81...


We handle them 120-115 despite 34 points from Chris Bosh and 29 from Bledsoe.

Turner led us with 24 points, 11 assists, 8 boards, and 2 steals. He shot 8 of 10.

Mayo with 20 points, 11 boards, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. He shot 8 of 14.

Tiggs with 20 points, 3 boards, and 3 assists. He shot 5 of 12.

Scott with 19 points, 5 boards, and 2 blocks. He shot 7 of 14.

Kelley led the bench with 10 points.

Ball with 8 points and 5 assists off the bench.

Jefferson with 8 points and 6 boards.


We are now 40-8. Our next game is on the 31st at Chicago. They are 25-19 with a roster rated 87 right now (without their C Ibaka who is injured for 2 more weeks.) They are led by Rose who is rated 95 now, Richie Harper who is rated 94, and Luol Deng who is rated 75.

We've led the NBA Power Rankings for 10 straight weeks...

Turner and Mayo are very tired going into this game. Hopefully, we can cut back their minutes a bit...
