Bailey Injury Update

Bailey's SA membership has been suspended...since she is injured we won't be going to the pool for a while and the team was nice enough to suspend her account so we wouldn't have to keep paying the monthly dues.

We have talked with the doctor and basically this is what we will be doing.

1. Stay out of the pool until the shoulder is feeling better and the middle back is strong enough to counteract the affect of the shoulder being pulled forward by the strong front side muscles.

2. When she starts swimming again she will need to get into it slowly and be monitored very closely to insure her stroke is corrected and she doesn't immediately reinjure the shoulder...

3. once the stroke is cleaned up we will put her back on a team, but she will be on restrictions as to how long she'll be in the pool and how far she'll be allowed to go...

We reached out to the coaches of both SA and Gold to see what they would suggest. I will be posting our correspondence to both teams below so you can see how this has played out...I'd do it in this post, but it will get pretty long...
