LOL, didn't even realize I used that same phrase. Though you have to admit saying that in a game with a Soothsayer (probably) and doing it with plenty of game left rather than an end game scenario are different things.

There's a lot that's tough to answer here. If they could affect our tasks without being involved, why wouldn't they have done it before? There would be no risk to them. You could maybe argue there weren't any at the time, but that really makes it a tough task for the village to figure out who are cultists if they can work on one thing and sabotage another. I really have to think they were involved in the task outwardly but faked their work.
I think I'd like to give it one more day for our information gatherers to perhaps take a crack at the list of decoders to see if we can narrow things down and if decoding the book gives us something useful.
