I try to get a window seat and I can sleep using a big bunched up sweatshirt or a coat as a pillow and lean against the window.
I don't sleep as well just putting my head back, but, the incline doesn't make a difference. In fact I'd probably sleep worse with the incline because my mind would just be making me feel guilty.
