Summer League – County Championships

The meet starts tomorrow morning early, and things have gotten quite tight for Brett in the breaststroke. We skipped the meet last night (thankfully, as it was impacted by the weather, and sitting around with a bunch of kids waiting to see if the meet is going to continue is no fun, whatsoever), so the last time we have from Brett was 2 weeks ago, and he wasn’t in a good frame of mind when he swam it…but it was also over 40 seconds. If he swims over 40 tomorrow he probably doesn’t even make the state team at all. Also while he has the fastest seed time coming in with a 37.75 (though again I felt it was probably closer to a 38.10 based on mine and another parents timing), another boy posted a 37.76 last night…so I’m going to be very anxious about this race all day today and tomorrow until it goes off…
