General Update

There are quite a few funny things that happen at swimming. I don't report many because they are situational and wouldn't probably translate on the board. But yesterday one occurred that you'll probably find funny...

At 5:30 the kids were getting ready for practice. Brett was having a hard time finding a suit to wear (probably because he was distracted not because he doesn't have like 5 to choose from). He finally went upstairs to get dressed, started talked with Bear then a little while later came down and had his snack. The family got to the pool early, and the kids started visiting with their friends. About 3 minutes before practice the kids start to strip down and line up. Well...

Brett took off his warm up pants, and noticed that the bottom of his suit was pretty high on his thigh, which isn't uncommon as it can roll up. So he started to pull it down, only to find the waist started to come down too. Then he realized - IT WASN'T A SUIT AT ALL - IT WAS HIS UNDERWEAR. He had completely failed to put a bathing suit on...as his ADHD obviously was working overtime and he got distracted when he was getting dressed.

The wife was watching the whole thing from the stands...and she started laughing and shaking her head. One of the coaches walked by and said, "Brett?", and she responded..."Yep, he's the most intelligent, idiot you've ever met..."

Had a nice laugh about this when I got home. Brett was pretty sheepish about his boneheaded move.
