1996 New England Patriots (11-5, 3-1) at 1985 Chicago Bears (15-1*, 2—2)
POG Jim McMahon has a near flawless game (12-15, 161 yards and 1 td) in a great defensive battle with Drew Bledsoe and the Patriots. Final score: Chicago 10, New England 3.

1975 Dallas Cowboys (10-4**, 3-1) at 1972 Miami Dolphins (14-0*, 4-0)
POG Mercury Morris had 2 rushing td’s, but it was not enough as the Super Bowl X runner-ups end the Dolphins second try at a perfect season. Roger Staubach threw for 273 and the Dolphins could not get many third down stops. Final score: Cowboys 22, Miami 14.

Week Six had several very high scoring games.
2008 Arizona Cardinals (9-7, 2-2) at 1943 Chicago Bears (8-1-1*, 0-4)
Kurt Warner and the Cardinals crushed the Bears 57-14.

2003 Philadelphia Eagles (12-4, 3-1) at 2005 San Diego Chargers (9-7^, 2-3)
This was a crazy see-saw game. Both Donovan McNabb and Drew Brees threw 3 td’s and 1 int. LaDainian Tomlinson had a monstrous 206 yard game including td with 1:51 remaining in the game. However, Philly won the game on the foot of David Akers with 19 seconds left. Final score: PHI 41, SD 39

2009 Philadelphia Eagles (11-5, 4-1) at 2008 New England Patriots (11-5^, 2-3)
Another Philly team, another crazy game. This one featured four tie scores, two 100 yard rushers, 3 field goals for both teams and the game ended up in overtime. Final score: PHI 42, NE 36.

1970 Dallas Cowboys (10-4**, 2-2) at 1949 Philadelphia Eagles (11-1*, 2-2)
Here is a third high scoring Philly game. However this time it was a 55-6 blowout in favor of the Eagles. QB Tommy Thompson threw for 182 yards and 4 td’s. RB Steven Van Buren rushed for 303 yards and 3 td’s. Wow.

2006 New Orleans Saints (10-6, 2-2) at 1949 Chicago Bears (9-3^, 3-2)
Bears QB Johnny Lujack threw for 243 yards and 4 td’s. Oh yeah, he also kicked a 35 yard field goal. Gotta love the old time players.

2013 San Francisco 49ers (12-4, 3-2) at 2003 Kansas City Chiefs (13-3, 1-3)
Colin Kaepernick went 11 for 15, 198 yards and 4 td’s in San Francisco’s blowout of the Chiefs. 49ers win big 45-13.
