To summarize, the board is delighted with the leadership qualities being demonstrated. This includes last season's Sky Bet Championship title. However, the fans' unhappiness with the performances of Clodoaldo is understandable and this is something I should be looking to resolve.

Portsmouth Sign Miquel
We have a few spots we absolutely have to shore up before the season. This is one of them. Ignasi Miquel joins us from relegated Brentford for £1.7M. The 23 year-old center back and former Arsenal product is penciled in to slot beside Adam Webster.

Ruud Boymans has agreed to a deal with us. The 27 year-old Dutch forward will sign a deal through 2019. We're thrilled to have him back.
