Bailey

#6 Girls 200 IM (2:19.23) : Seeded 36 - - I didn't expect much coming into this meet with Bailey's time out of the water and her back hurting, she opened the 200 IM with a fly leg of 28.88 which is very good...so good in fact it puts her more in line with her personal best swims, but unfortunately the time out of the pool created a situation where she was out of shape and her back half was poor. She finished in 2:21.63. Not great but she was far from the slowest.

#12 Girls 100 Fly (1:03.46) : Seeded 53 - - Her fly swim was similar to what she's been doing during the season untapered with a time of 1:04.45 - again not great, but she didn't embarrass herself which was her fear.

Bear

#3 Boys 200 Free (1:51.72) : Seeded 42 - managed to post a time of 1:48.01, which is good and a high school best, but far from his personal best of 1:45 (though I didn't expect he'd get close to that time). He ended up tied for 31st, which made him the first alternate for finals, and he really wanted to get into the C final.

#15 Boys 500 Free (4:51.40) : Seeded 17 - again a good but not great swim posting a time a 4:51.17, this is another high school best time and it put him 21st, which is the top seed of the C final, and he really wanted to be in the B final. Another close call disappointment for Bear.

#17 Boys 200 Free Relay : Seeded 24 - Bear led off the relay and that was a good thing because he posted a 23.69 which was a personal best time. The relay team also made it back for C finals despite the anchor being pulled from the team.

#23 Boys 400 Free Relay : Seeded 27 - The 400 Free relay looked good as the climbed all the way to 19th...Bear swam a 51.37 split...
