WEEK 2
Atlanta 1-0 @ Cleveland 1-0
Cleveland comes limping into this game with 6 starters injured (three are listed as out). The Browns' starting front is in shambles, and hopefully that will add up to big yards for Leland.

Even with their terrible line, Nixon was no match for this Brown defense. It seamed like every time he touched the ball he was being stuffed just past the line of scrimmage. He finished the day with 53 yards on 26 carries.

A couple of quick interceptions were quickly turned into TDs for the Browns early in the second quarter as the Browns held on to win this one 24-14. At least no one else was injured.

WEEK 3
Atlanta 1-1 @ Arizona 0-2
While there is no doubt that the Cardinals have a poor team, they do have some excellent run defenders on their roster. This may be another long day for us. Arizona is favored by 1.

Once again, our running game is completely taken out of the game. Nixon couldn't run more than 7 yards on any of his 23 carries, and was held to just 56 overall. Without our running game working we were hopeless all through the first half falling behind 17-0 at half time.

In the second half we had no choice but to turn to our new QB Gearhart, and he lit up the Cardinal's secondary. He finally punched in the tying TD on a QB sneak from one yard out with 3:42 left in the game. We would get the ball again with 1:45 left and we were able to move the ball just into our kicker's range. Diaz kicked his NFL record 468th career FG to win the game, 27-24.

Again no major injuries occurred in the game.
