This reminds me of my coworkers who get very offended when they're called racists only to turn around an hour later, look around like a bad vaudeville villain to see if anyone is looking right before they tell a racist joke. It's like "dude, you clearly know you're doing something wrong so you're not sorry you did it, you're sorry you got caught"
