We are headed to Oregon listed as 11 point favorites. The Ducks lost some players from last year to graduation (and early departures) but have rebounded nicely. They are 5-1 and ranked #16.
HB Kenyatta Jones is a guy we respect. He has averaged just over 100 yards a game and has 6 TDs. He is backed up by FR Michael Blanda - a guy we wanted badly.
They have 2 WRs named Hicks - one is JR Earl Hicks who has 32 catches for 482 yards. The other is FR Rick Hicks. We looked hard at this guy last year and are not thrilled about playing against him. He has 29 catches for 405 yards. And their 3rd WR isn't bad either - future looks bright for them at this position. This offense would be scary if their QB had stuck around for one more year.
Defense - DT Jake Johnson is a tough player. He has started since day one and makes plays against both the run and the pass. DE Rob Farr has 6 sacks already. And MLB Charley Mack is a fourth-year starter who makes a ton of tackles, particularly in run support.
