So, I'll give this a go. Will take Baltimore, in a league with default settings, presumably that will be like the NFL. (I have no idea how a game with this much customizability will end up managing AI decision-making...that seems far-fetched to me)

Scouting my team gives me....hmmm... a bunch of ratings that look like a 10-point scale for 11 things, 5 offense and 6 defense. Mmmmmkay. My team is all 6-8, with the high notes coming in run blocking, pass blocking, pass defense, and defensive stamina. Sounds fine, I guess.

Oh joy. When I click over to specific groups, I can see individual players. My left tackle is 24 year old J Cahn. I guess I don't get a lot of detail here, but he's rated 8 in run blocking and 9 in pass blocking. So, assuming 9 is really good - this sounds like a very nice young building block, if this were real football. (No clue whether this is random, or of this guy was drawn from a database where he's based off the Ravens' LT Ronnie Stanley).
