"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Conboy. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Wolverines star told reporters.
Conboy excelled with an impressive 17-6 record in 32 starts. In 213 innings he yielded 191 hits and 52 walks, while striking out 215 and compiling a fine 3.08 ERA.
