So, after waiting out early free agency, feeling cap strapped, I decide to make what moves I can upon depleted demands for a couple targets:
| Baltimore Ravens | QuikSand | TE Archie O'Donnell | 2 years, $6,720,000 (Bonus: $20K. Salary: $3.1M, $3.6M.) | 24 | 32 |
| Baltimore Ravens | QuikSand | SLB Tyrus Sorota | 1 year, $14,600,000 (Bonus: $9.3M. Salary: $5.3M.) | 58 | 58 |
| Baltimore Ravens | QuikSand | K Mario Thomas | 2 years, $24,560,000 (Bonus: $14.0M. Salary: $5.3M, $5.3M.) | 82 | 82 |
Glad to have LB Sorota back for one more year, we just needed a legit presence at LB and he was the clear choice for talent, cohesion, chemistry all wrapped together. If I have to do a few capouts or whatever to make the cap work this year, so be it.
Basically same goes for the kicker Marlo "That Girl" Thomas. Best guy out there, and my theoretical special teams push experiment now continues.
The twist? I basically made these moves by deciding I would not extend TE Gilbertson. He responds with a holdout, natch. That will take some noodling, because I most definitely do not have an easy path to meeting his demands.
