For real. We went out for just a general meal the other night. Ended up $40 total for the 3 of us. Daughter got an adult meal of chicken fingers and after a bite was like these fingers are shit. To be fair she was right and she ate 1, I really wanted to be like, this is why we get the kids meal.

At 11, my daughter has been to way more "fancy" restaurants than I went to in my first 30 years of life. It's easy to do more expensive meals when no one in the family drinks or does so seldomly. We can get out of $400 restaurants for less than 1/2 price just because we don't drink.
