The 19^th sees the living quarters in North Pacific completed. I commission two general stores. After those, we'll add sonar and another sub pen. We should be good to go there then.

On the 24^th, the sonar rooms calls to tell me there's a small contact in the Arctic Sea. I order the Barracuda 1 to intercept, and get the Triton 1 ready for action. Chief Rum II, who recently had his cast removed, begs on. The good news is we have armor for everyone on the ship.

The 'Cuda meets the alien sub, and the battle is on. The alien vessel dodges two torpedoes and hits our ship with shots of its own. In cannon range, the Barracuda unloads on the aliens and sends them to the bottom. The Triton 1 pulls out of the dock at full speed, heading for the crash site.
