Sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you. Just got tired of reading this thread and craving Chick-Fil-A.
Maybe you didn't find those comments surprising because you talk to parents like this all the time. I found all of them surprising because I talk to my kids all the time. I just found it sad that these parents are relying on a complete stranger to tell them what's going on with their kids, rather than taking the time to get to know their kids themselves.
God bless you for what you're doing, though. I don't think I'd have the patience.
