A year and a half later, and my long-term settlement of Planeton has finally bitten the dust. Decembary of year 23 and a massive man-eating bug infestation right in the middle of the living area coupled with a siege firing incendiary mortar rounds finally did it in. Could just about handle the infestation, but the firestorm finished my settlers off, all 22 of them dead.
My settlement is now just a smoldering shell with the three remaining bugs randomly wandering around breaking things.
Wish I hadnt played ironman mode now.
