We sign youngster Keiran Walmsley from Morecambe, for no transfer fee, but 15% of next sale. While he didn't get a glowing recommendation from our scour, we'll give him a chance to learn his trade in the reserves and see where he goes from there.

Miller gets hurt in the next game, against Cheltenham, and it's bad enough that we're down 1-0 a half hour in, but Cox lets in three more goals as we get smacked 4-0.. It's pretty obvious he's not the answer, and with Miller being 35, we will be hunting for goalie on Bosman or free transfer.

In the short term tho, we need another goalie as Miller will miss one month with an ankle problem.

Cox just is outclassed at this level. I contact Oxford and tell him that I'm going to send him back to them, I'd rather he get moved to a team he can actually help then to sit on our bench.

We have several irons on the fire to replace him though
