During a week of light practice due to the lack of healthy midfielders, we ask Leeds and Middlesborough to extend the loans of Corr and Jones for three more months. They acqueisce, and they'll stay with us the rest of the way.

Cardiff City, who are likely to be relegated from the English Championship have hired Stan Ternert to try to save the team from the drop (they are seven points from safety with 15 to play).

In the last three games, we've taken on the 1st (Cambridge), 2nd (Boston Utd), and 7th (Notts Co) place teams. It doesn't get any easier right away, as we take on 6th place Rushden at home.

We manage to have a full midfield as Lescott and Longthorn recover in time to join Mirza in midfield. However, an hour in, Longthorn gets sent off for two yellows (great, he'll miss another game, *sigh*) and we lose 1-0.

The loss puts us in 13th, but if you told me we'd get seven points from playing four top seven teams in a row, I would be happy. With 14 games left in the season, there's a lot of teams between us and the playoffs, but only five points. One good run could be all we need.
