Basano, Game #3 – Home vs Cluj – Colombi, Balasa, and Margeman are back. This is my first game with any sort of weather. It’s raining here in Transylvania today. In the 24th, on a dribble, Etebo sides the ball past Cluj to Lupu who finds Ivan for goal. Ivan to Gimenez for goal a few minutes later. We bang up one of their defenders, and they get two cards. Half. Don’t get complacent! They do. In the 51st, Cluj nets a goal. WHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhoaaaaaaa. That was a goal. Cartagena with a long shot after a deflection by a defender falls to him. Ivan picks up a knock. I send in Raul. I send in Viveros when Card-agena strikes. I pull a tired Margeman for Farcas. Two more yellows for Cluj arrive. We win 3-1. MOM is Ivan.
Ivan is out for 2 weeks.
