Haven't seen anything like that, typically it's going to be houses (although I believe there were a couple of sidequests in
Oblivion that gave you extra options). Just be sure to trust no container that you do not own, nearly all of them respawn.
I'm dealing with the same thing, focusing on getting the 5k needed for the first house (if I ever regain custody of the game from my son who's finally getting his first hands-on today).
