The arena dims and Brian Pillman's theme hits the PA system. Pillman rushes down the ramp, high-fiving fans, his face a picture of determination.
Jushin 'Thunder' Liger's music then hits, and the crowd erupts as the reigning TV Champion makes his way to the ring, adorned in his iconic mask and outfit.

Both men circle each other cautiously. They lock up, and Liger gains the upper hand with a quick arm drag. Pillman is up in a flash and delivers a dropkick that sends Liger backpedaling into the ropes.

Bobby Heenan: "These two are evenly matched, it's going to come down to who wants it more."
