Tonight I'm starting in Kansas City. They are starting Jon Bell who is 4-3 with a 5.94 ERA.

Coco Crisp starts off the game with a 10 pitch at bat before he grounds out to Cano. Gordon with a 1st pitch liner to Jose for the 2nd out. Butler with a 2 out single up the middle. Olivo with a walk. Sigh. Ryan hits a 2-2 fastball just past Alexei's reach. RBI single. Enrique pops it up to end the inning.

Struck out Lopez with an outside 1-2 fastball for the 2nd out of the 2nd.

Struck out Pena with a 0-2 slider to end the 4th.

Budde with a solo homer in the 5th. Tied at 1.

Budde with another solo homer in the 7th! 2-1 lead.

Owens covers a lot of ground for the 1st out of the 7th in left center. Cano throws the ball away and allows Teahan to get to 2nd. Mike pulls me after that and gives it to Groniga who is now setting up..

Groniga gives up the inherited run and 1 more on a homer by Crisp. We lose the game 3-2.
