I influence nation Japan because I need to keep them out of Siberia – 4k
26 Oct – I send my two extra diplomats to make nice with Bali and Royal Marriage with Malacca
18 Nov – Event – University of Aldan – I choose to spend 10k to expand the University here and gain 3 innovativeness and ADM power
I am getting new the cap so I spend 200 to raise dev in places like Mitija and others.
30 Dec – I send our Malacca dip to make nice with Barus
2 Jan, 1759 – I order:
Universities in all Salt holdings – 21 total
Afterwards I have 8612 cash
Could my next war be Malacca? They have 238k, not 23.8k, so they are much bigger than Somalia, and we are based all over them on Sumatra Island with Bengkulu, on Borneo next to two of them, two on Sulawesi, their only ally is Berau. So we wouldn’t have to deal with that. Our navy is better too.
That would be hard because we have three flanks and then we’d need around 300k per flank to do it.
We’d also lose tons of manpower since we’d have to unload all of my 300k on Bengkulu over years since it’s out only holdings on the island.
1 Mar - I spend more ADM/DIP Power to raise dev of things in Mitija
14 May – With 58k manpower, I spend 31k in West Africa to make a 5th army on that flank – my mil maintenance is 339.77
18 May – A general passes
I order 14 more heavy ships in Southern Africa. My naval maintenance is 116.67
I have room for another 177 ships
19 Aug - Zeila converts! Next is Ausa for 18 months, 4.21 made here now
1 Sept – 17k Separatists rise up in Degehabur where my army is
10 Sept – Defeated and we lost 2k
5 Nov – Conversion in Angot! Anything to order here it’s next to 3 holdings. Should I Fortress this? I spend 144 ADM leveling it to level 10 and then order a Fortress here
Next is Mendefera for 26 months
Let’s look closer at Zeila (4.21) and last war’s big addition Kismayo – making 3.43
They are both Somali culture, which is very common in the upcoming Horn of Africa. I have one extra Culture in my Empire and then 4 more Somali cultures in the area, I move it to accepted since they have high dev holdings to core. I spend 90 DIP power to do so
After accepting their culture:

22 Nov – Degehebur converts! Next is 27 months in Aksum
