I'll say AST is 100 times more enjoyable daily than playing LL, where you just hate yourself about what you know or don't know. AST is fun, it's breezy and even if you're getting beaten it's not a burden. The seasons are shorter too.

Hello, prized recruit. You're receiving this wall of text from Apocalypse Sports Trivia because your friend, family member, or bitter rival—perhaps all three?—has decided that you are a discriminating soul who might be interested in joining our free sports trivia league. Here's our deal: Each "fortnight" of AST consists of ten days of questions, Monday through Friday, with five questions per day and a full 24 hours to answer at your convenience. The time commitment is quite low, the brain stimulation quite high. Each morning, you'll be matched head-to-head against one opponent from your division of ten players, and along with answering the five questions, you'll play defense against that opponent based on which questions you think he or she will answer correctly. After facing each player in your division through the first nine days, you'll have a chance to play for championships, promotion to a higher division, or just to stave off relegation on day ten, i.e. Championship Day.
