I don’t extend anyone else. They either have lower quality, older, or have question marks over them.
Week 2 –
The Chiefs cut TE Lluelyn. If I didn’t have TE Perry, I might make a play. Also let go were WR Holbert, RB Riley Konrad, DT Newhart, CB Cook and FS Allen. Cook is the 2nd best FA at CB, a solid, young 61/61 body. My best corner not named Pigg is a 41/41 CB. This is a major upgrade. I make an offer for the Cook for 4 years, 50 mill.
By far, Holbert is the best WR in FA< and cheap too. I make an offer for 3 years, 18 mill.
I can’t make a play for Allen, but it would be funny if I did. He had 7 picks last year and still, no All Pro for the guy. Now, he’s a pure FS, and I’d be willing to bring in a top flight S all day long, but I like what FS Maloney brought last year. Although Maloney is old. I can’t see him moving to SS ever given his lack of Run Stopping. So Allen is miscast on my team.
The 2nd best OG out there is Lucas Lucas, from my old Cleveland dynasty, but he’s 58/58, and 33 years old and just ones a one year deal at this point. I make an offer for memory and ability, for4 mill.
7th year vet WLB Lukas Hanson is a pass rush specialist, and the best LB in FA, and I make hima 4 year 20 mill offer.
Huh. I make another offer to a long-time player, DT Damien Alcott, 36 years old, from my Cleveland Dynasty, with 6 All Pros. He’ll be a rotational guy, and not a full time starter, but why not?

Week 3 – Cook signs. I have to up Holbert’s offer to pass other competitors.
Week 4 – Holbert signs. DT Newhart heads to LA, Konrad to LA as well.
Week 5 – FS Allen heads to Carolina.
Week 6 – Our DT Campana moves out to Colorado Springs to join the Bears. TE Lluellyn heads to Atlanta.
Week 7 – Lucas Lucas signs with us. Our CB Bohme headst o Green Bay.
Week 8 – LB Hanson joins us.
Week 9 – All quiet
Week 10 – DT Alcott signs with us
I look at some rookies. Who do I like? Who may fall to 1.26?

I double check, no one major I want to bring in pre-draft. We have 51 players under contract, but I signed all of the decent RFAs, many of which may get cut laters
