Friggin Bob Orton Jr. signs an exclusive PPA with AWA and will be leaving, puts a wrench in the High Noon storyline, but I have a backup plan
Don Muraco signs a 9 month PPA with is at $2,600 a pop, big money but a big time get and it lets me release Mark Lewin.
I then sign Spike Huber to a PPA at $870 a pop to replace the fired Jack Hart as a mid-carder, definitely an upgrade.

Andre the Giant wins the New Japan heavyweight title, good luck getting that strap off of him.
Terry Funk and Bruiser Brody defeat Giant Baba and Jumbo Tsuruta to claim the NWA International Tag straps, that Baba and Tsuruta had defended 100 times, wow!!!
Roddy Piper returns to his roots signing with PNW
Carlos Colon and WWC are making some waves, recently signing Ricky Steamboat and Bret Hart
Southeastern Championship Wrestling is expanding their broadcasting, getting TV slots in Hawaii, the MSG network, Telemundo and a couple of local markets.
