We're back up to 6th in the mid-major poll. If I hadn't mentioned it before, we'd fallen as far as 9th.

UL Lafayette is 24-0, ranked #3 in the media poll with a top 15 RPI. They clearly lead the mid-major poll still. Nevada is 22-4 and ranked as well.

Our next game is a simmed road contest at Kent State, they're rated 72 OVR and we expect to win.

February 19th:

Ohio 68
at Kent State 55

Delic leads us with 17 points/10 boards, House 11, Cooper 10.

That is our 20th win of the season! Its also our only game of the week.

We remain 6th in the mid major poll going into the next week.

MAC Standings

1. N. Illinois (9-4)
2. Ohio (9-4)
3. Ball State (14-10)
4. Akron (7-6)
5. E. Michigan (7-6)
6. W. Michigan (6-7)
7. Kent State (6-7)
8. Toledo (6-7)
9. Bowling Green (6-7)
10. Buffalo (5-8)
11. C. Michigan (5-8)
12. Miami OH (4-9)

We're the only team with any overall record to speak of out of the group. Ball State is 14-10, Kent State 13-10, Akron 14-11, N. Illionis 14-13. Everyone else has a losing record.

Our RPI is 54th in the nation. We haven't played a single top 100 team this year.

I guess it is possible that we could win the rest of our conference games, and lose in the MAC final and have an outside shot at an at-large bid. We'd be 25-6 if that happened, but the loss would probably drop us further than the 5 wins would raise us up, I fully expect to have to win the conference to go dancing.

We are listed on the bubble watch, I don't know if this is in order or not, but we're in the bottom 3rd of the list along with many of the other top 10 mid-majors. VCU, Alabama A&M and Gonzaga are all on the list with us along with a number of major programs with RPI's in the 40s.
