This completely goes against the impression you gave this morning that you were on board.
The reason why logical plans don't work is because people choose to not go along with them, using the logic that someone always messes it up, in turn being the one themselves to mess it up.
I'm sorry DT, but to me it reeks if you put yourself in the line of fire in order to use the ability, then don't follow the wishes of the people who agree to go along with a plan that will be helpful for the village.
