On the technology front, this time last year, no one was using Microsoft Teams and Zoom was an easy to use conference app that no company would let within 10' of their support base because of all of
their awful security holes. That said, Zoom is basically WebEx so if you've done video conferencing, it's not new. But teachers would have had to learn it on their own over the summer without any support (certainly doable but not guaranteed) because it's not like they had a lot of time last school year to learn or adjust on the fly.
