REALLY?! Starting DR Sylvain Berthet sprains an ankle during a heavy fall in training. He's going to miss 5-6 weeks.

FA Cup Third Round Replay

Cardiff(13-10-4, 7th) @ Ipswich(17-6-4, 2nd)

We're 6:4 favorites today at home. If I'm looking at the rules right, there's no aggregate or road goals designation here. If we're tied after 90, extra time, and penalties after that. This will be out fourth meeting this season. We've lost once and tied twice. Time to get us a win!

McKerr in for the injured Berthet. Standard mindset.

13': Foul on them about 25 yards out, Gordon takes it, off the wall and back for a corner. Corner is cleared easily.

20': Gordon receives a pass about 20 yards out, turns and shoots immediately, its off the crossbar, so close! Constantino to the rebound but offsides.

33': Yellow for midfielder Woolford tackling Ford.

35': Jordan Ford is tackled in the midfield... he goes down hurt and he's got to come out immediately. COME ON. Bruce moves to DMC, Paulo up to MC, Zeki Fryers is in at DC.

42': Ledley picks up a yellow for a tackle on Constantino.

48': We win a ball in the midfield and counter hard, there's a pass down the right, Constantino runs into it and sprints down the right side. Paulo is wiiiiiide open in the area, Constantino hits him, he gets our first clear cut chance, and sends it wide left, just missed, we really needed a goal there.

HALF: They shoot 10 times, we shoot 8. 3 on target for them/2 for us. Possession is about even, all stats are really really close. We're going to come out attacking this half.

61': We had an early attack but never managed a shot. A good bit of time runs off, we give up a corner here, but they head it over the bar off the corner.

68': Gudmundsson commits a foul about 20 yards out, they shoot well off the free kick, Murphy makes a diving save and pushes it behind for a corner. We block a shot off corner #2 and give them a second corner... we clear that one out.

75': We take our first shot of the half finally, a really long one, blocked and its a corner for us. Mills comes in at AMC for Gordon.

80': Midfielder Ellis with a yellow.

84': We have a free kick out right maybe 40 yards out. Its taken to Gudmundsson near midfield, he puts it into the area, Constantino runs onto it perfectly, controls it perfectly and puts it into the net! We drop back to defend. 1-0

90': Young guy Jack Hughes is in for a tired Alex Bruce.

92': We get the ball on offense and work it around for a good awhile, stalling as much as anything... Paulo has it 35 yards out, sends it ahead to Constantino. Constantino makes a brilliant turn, leaves his man in the dust, takes a couple steps into the area and buries a shot far post by the keeper!! Brilliant, brilliant stuff. 2-0
