A further illustration of the difference in quality between the clubs at the top of the SFPL Premier table and the ones in the middle.
Montrose had wrecked teams who played a flat 4-4-2 against them, so we tried the 4-4-2 Diamond. Montrose wrecked us anyway. We were outshot 20-10, conceded 10 corners and didn't take a single one, and had possession only 42% of the time. I hate to go into a defensive shell every time we play against a decent side away from Seafield Park, but I'm thinking I might have to swallow my pride and give that a try.
Stevie Murray played Calum O'Neill through for our goal, which came very late and didn't do much except make the match seem closer than it was.
In four days, we're away to Brora for a cup tie, and in a week, away to Celtic for another. Busy times.
Strathie's SPFL record: 6-2-5, 10th place
27 goals, 25 conceded
