I know it's short run, short season, but from a storytelling pov, it's amazingly well done. It's emotional, and the entire production is so very good. Glen Close simply stole the season. Everybody has that passive-aggressive mother-in-law, this is just the "volume up to 10" version.
I personally thought that there wasn't enough to the story to make an entire extra season. Season 1 had so much more going on.
