Here's our roster as we get to the draft class reveal in the offseason. The guys who are giving off some longer term vibes right now:
I'd say we really need to get lucky on some OL. That was a bit of a theme even when we were drafting "dragons" in the 4th. We're also kind of dabbling with only adding guys with high intelligence on the OL. One nice advantage of the post-draft world we're signing guys in is that you can at least peek at those traits. Our talent level is really bad here though, and it's impactful. We need some luck.
QB... I was impressed with Tate winning a few games. I'm resigned to us rolling with a gimp here. You need WR cohesion to put together any kind of passing attack in our circumstances, and that's going to take some time. I am ok with Tate heading into next year if it comes to that.
We'll see what we get. Just jotting some thoughts before we dig into the next class. There's always some inertia and real advantages to sticking with the guys in place. Hopefully there are a couple guys out there who make it easy for us.
