I'm kind of thrilled with this. We also made a pretty big overhaul of our depth charts after the 0-5 start. We were getting absolutely annihilated before that point. I want to see it play out next year, but there's a chance we're an ugly 7-9 team next year or something if we keep the personnel stuff straight. We're clearly not good, but the 3rd down "line" defensively seems to be a viable concept with our limitations. I don't know if going pure specialist there is the driver for these results but it's kind of huge considering we don't do anything else all that well.

Tate was solid. I'm still keeping an eye on things there but this was light years ahead of last year. Run game kind of stinks. Stuff to think about.
