Big regression defensively seems to be the story. I think I may have strayed a tick from our pure division of labor approach situationally. We were also trying to get some of the rookies who are definitely a part of our future like CB Wallin and DE Mascorella on the field a lot to develop. Might have held us back.

The offense looks dangerously competent. Tried to really dial into spreading the targets around and making sure none of our WRs end up being the 8-10+ targets per game guys that they're just not built to be. That was clearly helpful.

We flipped the script a little by getting off to a decent start and then sliding down the stretch. I think the defense is largely a talent issue that we can only solve by slowly adding a couple more real players each year. A not so sneaky subplot with the offense was a fairly massive issue with sacks. We had 67 of them, comfortably the worst in the league. I'm not sure how to solve that one without a gift from the dice roll gods and a new QB.
