Pretty clearly our best team by my eyes. The offense is constructed around this particular group of losers, and there are some real gains from spreading the targets around when your guys are fringey former bag boys. QB Drake Samuels also continues to save us from some bad plays by just taking off.
D was solid. I'm honestly not doing a whole there other than trying to rotate our DL situationally. CB Wallin had a massive year.
I'm pretty happy with this. We still feel like we're not quite good enough to put together a 12 win season or something. And I'm not really sure what the path there might be. Samuels is just finishing year 2. I don't think we're going to stumble into a stud receiver. We're gonna push the "spread it around" lever even further next year with more formations I guess. Get all these guys under 100 targets or something.
We get Fairbanks on the road again as a Wild Card team.
