Tough start for us and the area of concern, a very young and inexperienced secondary (Lost all 4 starters from last season) was our downfall. We led Red Mountain 26-20 halfway through the 3rd and then gave up 26 unanswered to lose 46-26 to a legit top 10 team. There will be plenty of good to take from this and our secondary has a whole season to improve and be tested for the playoffs. We will be top 10 by seasons end I have no doubt.

The bad though. The opposing QB threw 5 TD strikes and 3 came over the top in third and long situations.
80 yard strike on 3rd and 13
79 yard strike on 3rd and 23 (UGH)
48 yd strike on 3rd and 12

Plays like that just take your soul after you have put a team in a whole. Our run defense was solid, they had negative yards at the half and finished the game with around 35, but that goes out the window when you are riddled for nearly 500 yards through the air
