| Ugh, not a very good start. Ewing has had two shots blocked and we've thrown the ball away twice. They've hit 2 3's and are running their offense well against us. I have a 3 from Ewing and a couple tough inside looks.

| Whew, that was nice. We find Coleman inside for a bucket. They miss a shot and we get out on the break. Alston makes a bucket and is fouled. He misses his free throw, but Johnson gets the board and scores. A quick 6 points to keep this from becoming a hole we have to dig out of like last time.

| After howard pushes the lead back out to 8 points, 31-23, our defense tightens up and we have success pounding it inside. Cruz and Shepherd bring us back to even. We just need to get a lead on these guys and stop falling behind all the time. Starters are back in, including Hayes. We'll see how effective Hayes is.

| When you're hot, you're hot. We're on a 15-0 run now. On our last possession Ewing pump faked, got his man up in the airand drove. I thought he had an open lane but another defender closed on him. I had already started to shoot and just hoped to draw a foul. Ewing instead does an incredibly acrobatic up and under move and the ball rolls around the rim and in. Like I said, when you're hot, you're hot. That kind of thing, espicially from Ewing, doesn't normally fall.

| UGH. They go on an absolute tear to finish off the half. 4 3's in the final 5 minutes, plus a number of fast break baskets as we hit another little turnover spree.
They are 9-19 from 3 and 21-41 from the field, just killing us. They have 10 steals already and only 2 turnovers themselves. SG Timothy is 5-7 from 3 and has 21 points.
On our end Coleman has 12 points and Ewing has 10. We haven't succeeded on the break much at all. Also I think Hayes injury is having an effect. I'm going to pull him the rest of the game. I can't visibly tell that he's not elevating fully but he's just laying shots into the front of the rim that are usually very easy baskets for him.
