2004 Training Camp - Momma Always Told Me "Training Camp Is Like A Box Of Chocolates..."
We came out of training camp with some good news, some better news, and some bad news.
The good news was that Al Ingram did not bust (thank you, lord!). The better news was that an undrafted free agent signee, first year DT Jackie Tuten, had a breakout camp; Cory Wells, our head scout, rated him with a future of 100 for run defense AND pass defense, with a 97 endurance to boot! WOOHOO!!!
The flipside of this was that guard Glen Battle, our second first round pick this season, was a total flaming bust! Thanks a lot, Joe Pa!!! (Even Joe Pa can be wrong?
) After camp, we cut him loose and signed another first year guard in his place.

A phone call to Cincinnati was made to inquire if we might get Ralph Porter back, but they said no deal...
