Well, actually, that's the sad/scary part that pisses me off. Since Russo took over the booking, they've posted the highest ratings they've ever had on Spike, including last week when they topped 1.6 million viewers for the first time ever as well as their highest rating in M18-34 ever.
Granted, there's at least a couple of ways to look at the numbers. On the one hand, the audience is still quite small, but on the other hand the ratings are up from 0.7-0.9 to 1.0-1.1, so it's around a 25% increase in viewership. The PPV buy rates are of concern, but TV-wise they're bigger than they've ever been. (Pending the sales for last night, there's still a possibility that they're chasing away the loyal PPV buyers while getting more people who are only watching on free TV).
